Angelica continued to do amazing things in 2019 that helped her grow as a performer as well as inspire millions of her fans around the world.
Holding on to her tradition of giving back, Angelica continued her enduring support of the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH), the Sepsis Alliance, and the National Kidney Foundation.
This is the 2019 installment of the continuing story that is Angelica Hale.

Angelica Hale Today
2019 has been a big year for Angelica (haven’t they all)…
- Angelica received a second Golden Buzzer on AGT The Champions – to become the only performer to receive two Golden Buzzers on America’s Got Talent
- She recorded and released her debut album, Feel The Magic
- Released singles individually, followed by the entire album (available on iTunes, Google Play, Amazon Music and Spotify)
- Had her first ticketed concert with Angelica as the headliner – A huge success!
- Disney has finally taken notice! Angelica did a voice over as a guest star for Disney Junior’s T.O.T.S. that came out this year and she did ads for Disney princesses on her YouTube channel. We’re hoping to see Angelica in a new Disney movie. Anyone agree?
- Angelica performed in Macau, China

In 2019, Angelica broadened her performances by singing with a number other talented people. Something she hasn’t really done since singing with Kelly Clarkson and Ketchy on AGT (2017).

“The Prayer” – Angelica Hale and Daniel Emmet
This duet was originally performed by Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli and released in 1998.
This is another song that is quite a departure from the usual style we’re used to seeing from Angelica. And we’ve never heard Angelica sing in Italian before! Maybe she’s trying to tell us, “I won’t be pigeon holed, I can sing anything.” 😉

Angelica Hale’s Hometown Show – Atlanta
On August 24, 2019 Angelica enjoyed her first ticketed concert where she was the headliner – Angelica Hale’s Hometown Show in Atlanta.
Guests From AGT
She invited 3 young AGT friends. Aside from music they all had something else in common – they have all been through tragic health circumstances that would make most of us mere mortals throw up our hands in despair.

Performing with her guests, Angelica was incredibly gracious. For example, she toned down her vocals to let her guests talent shine. She also repeatedly motioned for the crowd to wave their lights in the air to show her guests some love.
Angelica Performed More Songs Than Ever Before
In the show Angelica performed six songs herself. Each of her guests performed one song solo. Then Angelica performed one song with each of her guests. Finally, for the final song Angelica and all of her guests performed, “The Greatest Show.” For a total of 10 songs Angelica performed that night. The most she’s ever performed in one show.
Does Angelica Hale Play Piano?

At one point Angelica surprised and delighted the crowd by playing her own piano accompaniment while singing the song, “Shallow”, from the movie, “A Star Is Born.”
This was greeted to thunderous applause and cheers.
This shows, yet again, how Angelica is willing to step out of her comfort zone to try new things as she continues to grow and become an even better performer.
Rehearsals
A show like this can’t happen without a ton of work by everyone involved.
Angelica is such a hard worker. But like she says, “if it’s your dream, then it’s work that you enjoy!”
It’s always fun to catch a glimpse behind the scenes with Angelica. She makes it look so easy that people sometimes don’t realize how much work goes into every performance.
Kicking Off The Show
Angelica kicked off the show with a powerful rendition of her version of “Fight Song.” See that Hometown Show video here.
My goodness, Angelica was really “on” that night. This is one of her best performances. It was obvious that she was really enjoying the interaction with the crowd.
A Cute thing happened as she finished this song. This was the first song of her first concert as the headliner.
So, even though she nailed this song, and the crowd was cheering throughout, there was a moment as she finished the song where you could see the trepidation on her face – how is the crowd going to react? It only lasted about 3 or 4 seconds as the crowd erupted with applause and cheers . See if you can spot it as you watch the video.
Angelica Hale performs “Get on your Feet” at A Capitol Fourth on PBS
On July 4th, Angelica performed at the most attended and watched Independence Day celebration in the US – at the grounds of the US Capitol.
What really stands out about this performance was the movement and audience interaction. The audience was dancing. At one point in the middle of the song Angelica walked through the audience and collected high fives from audience members.
It’s clear that Angelica loves her audience, but we’ve never seen anything like this from her before. Watch this performance.
Power of the Dream – Commemorating the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta
This year Atlanta once gain commemorated the 1996 Olympic Games held in that city. They decided they wanted the original song that was performed by Celine Dion at those Olympic Games, “Power of the Dream”, while they strolled down memory lane.
But who could they possibly get that could perform that difficult song?
Enter 12 year old, Atlanta native – Angelica Hale!
Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau
This is another song that’s not typical of what we have come to expect from Angelica. The Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau asked her to perform this song with legendary cellist, OkCello.
Angelica said, ” it was fun to try a new style of song. This was a fun experience…”
So That’s A Wrap
While Angelica did loads more performances and traveling in 2019, these are what we consider some of the highlights of her year.
